Our executive chef, Nick Nguyen
Chef Nick Nguyen was born in Saigon Vietnam in 1987. He moved to the United States when he was 5 years old. His family opened a restaurant in the food court of Hong Kong City mall and that's where he began his study of cooking. As a teenager, Nick worked as the sous chef at Cafe Japon learning how to make sushi and other Japanese influenced dishes. When his sister Julie opened Giau Bar N Bited, Nick became their head chef. With his knowledge of Vietnamese and Japanese cuisine Nick fused the two together to create a unique menu for Giau.
